From the very beginning, Junk Busters has been dedicated to recycling and donating, and keeping as much as we can out of our landfills. We understand the importance of protecting our environment, and frankly, find it irresponsible to fill our landfills with items that are still usable. As mom used to say, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure”!
That’s why with every junk removal job, we perform the following BEFORE heading to the landfill:
- Inspect all items needing removal to determine which ones can be donated through our Junk
Love program. - Separate any items that can be recycled, such as metals, plastics and papers.
- Take any items for donation to one of our Junk Love partners (Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Age of Austin).
- Prepare remaining solid waste for efficient disposal at the landfill.
From our shiny green trucks to our core values, protecting our environment through responsible junk removal is a priority for us! Because what we do today affects all of our tomorrows!
